    16. Girlbrush Says:

Nice contest. Just want to clarify the following rule - “All entries must be original and created and/or owned exclusively by the player submitting the video.” Are we allowed to use ddo’s screenshots to create the video, like say a monster, npc or a location that can be found in ddo itself?

    17. geoffhanna Says:

I need a really straightforward Making Animations For Dummies kind of thing. I know how to make animated gifs … but that seems like the wrong technology for this.

      Any ideas?

    18. sugarsmack Says:

Would like clarification on Girlbrush’s (good) question as well. I’ve been working on a video that includes in-game screenshots and video footage taken by me, assuming it would be alright, but now I’m not so sure.

Also, I’ve used DDO music (downloaded from the ddo.com website and credited to Turbine in the vid) as I thought if screenshots were OK, music should be in a similar field. Is using DDO music as background music allowed?

    19. sugarsmack Says:

In case Turbine doesn’t post here before the deadline, DDO screenshots and music are allowed: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=209361

    20. Broccoli Says:

Just in case anyone missed it: you’re perfectly fine to use screenshots / video footage that you’ve taken in-game. You’re also just fine to use the DDO music that’s available on the website!
