* Healer hirelings are dumber than before. Even when in defensive mode and I tell them to stand still they charge monsters 2 rooms away.
* The zone-in-crash bug is back. Most noticeable so far is when entering the desert explorer area.

My skins are in the usual folder (”%UserProfile%\Dungeons & Dragons Online\ui”), but they don’t appear in the options menu (the only choice is “none”).
Putting “CustomUI=” or “UserSkin=” in UserPreferences.ini doesn’t help either.
Of course it’s the same for all characters, in all servers.

I took a collection of regular and gold seal hirelings into the Orchard Post U11.1 (Otsegolation - Khyber). I noticed they like to run to a fight, then when the fight is over they stand there for a little bit before deciding to follow me.
It also seems to me that the aggro range for enemies in the Orchard is much further. I found myself being attacked by baddies from just inside the draw range many times. Especially with Vampires and Wraiths.

2 bugs for ya Maj.
#1. Hireling AI between Active and Defend seems to have some issues, almost behaving like the “Agro” setting for Active got moved to Defend and vice versa.
While Defending, a hireling will B-Line for a monster(s) even before they are visible. Also sometimes takes 2-3 attempts to get them to cast a spell on their hotbar while in defend mode.
On Active, they will melee, cast spells as they are ordered, and use some useful spells, but they do not attack anything until it has been agro’d by the player.
Bug #2.) This was noticeable before patch 11.1, and still persists.
Coffins as breakables can be targeted, but can not be broken, this stops optionals in some quests such as the Chamber of Rahmat and Chamber of Koroush to be currently unattainable. It almost appears as if they are already broken, except you can target them, and the monsters/items that might be inside are no where to be seen.
*** In general annoyance/bug/wth remark
Air Elementals went from over powered, to being to weak and are back to being overpowered again, and EXTREMELY annoying. They knockback, trip, and AE like mad. For a non-evasive melee, these things can be a long, annoying, boring, agitating death. Even with high Str/Dex, and evasion, you spend your whole time running back to them, or getting up, just to get knocked back or knocked down again. Very agitating.
A suggestion to fix Air Elementals is to give their Knockback/Knockdown abilities a cooldown, as it stands, what makes them so annoying is if you get close to them, you have to make about 10-30 saves, VERY very quickly, and well, you WILL roll a 1 in there.
Highly annoying!

Steps to Reproduce: Just enter Siegebreaker and summon a hireling, by the time you close your inventory panel and blink, your hireling, even on defend will be in the middle of the first room attacking everything in sight. For the coffin breakables, see the above quests, for Air elementals, go anywhere with a melee of equal level and fight one.

Character Name: Arturium
Server: Sarlona
Race/Class/Level: Human/14 Cleric 2 Monk
Location: Inferno of the Damned
Description: Entire quest is getting an unusual amount of Dungeon Alert.
Steps to Reproduce: Step into the quest “Inferno of the Damned”. Head west. At the first room with mobs notice that non-existent casters are attempting to lob lightning bolts at you. You will hear the sounds of spells being cast.
Continue the quest as laid out by the instructions on DDOWiki, killing a minimum of foes. You guys should also note that *not* killing every foe on the normal side is part of the intended design of the quest. Because of mobs aggroing too early and aggro not dropping when players use the teleports the Dungeon Alert scales up too quickly.

Well, I dunno if these count as bugs but…
1: Sometimes(well, more like alot) my cleric hirelings wont cast heal, summon, bless, aid or anything else in his/her bar when I click on them. Very annoying. And potentially bad!
2: My hirelings will sometimes just… stop moving. And they wont move to me unless I tell them to. The problem with this is that their path is clear. They just dont wanna move!
3: The Rogue trainer in the harbor is no longer clipping through the box. It was funnier when he was. PUT IT BACK!
4: Bedraggled Prisoners in Tangleroot quest were… floating… nonono… *Levitating* above the tables in their prison cells. It was kinda spooky man.
5: Whenever I try clicking on my hirelings bar thing(where it shows their health/mana) It no longer selects them. Thats bad for if I wanna heal them real quick like. Since clicking that was easier than clicking a moving target.
6: My MyDDO mailbox is still broke >=[ and I gots 3 mails in there!(I TOLD them it wasnt working but they STILL sent me a mail! Some people…)
Thats it me thinks!

+1 Conjured Bolts cannot go into quivers purchased from the DDO Store. I am disappointed.
My Artificer Iron Defender with ranks in Intimidate glitched out majorly during the Quickfoot Hideout dungeon. It just… stopped doing anything. It wouldn’t interact with objects, it wouldn’t attack, it wouldn’t defend itself. It just stood there. I’ve removed the intimidate enhancement.
Speaking of that! The Iron Defender has a REALLY REALLY REALLY HIGH PERCEPTION RANGE. It doesn’t see through stealth without a spot check, but even when set on defend, it will sprint down the hall way to a group of mobs I didn’t even see. In certain rooms, if left to it’s own devices, it will run loose and try to kill everything. On one occasion, (also in the Quickfoot mission), it ran through a sonic trap to try and kill a group of dogs behind a locked door.
The Eldritch Devices in the Crafting Hall would not accept my Disjoined Module.

When playing as my Paladin using a Lit II Green Steel Falchion, I see the damage from good and electrical types on melee attacks, but I don’t think I’m seeing the base damage from the weapon anymore post U 11.1? Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m not sure if it’s an issue of the damage not applying or the numbers just not displaying in the UI. Testing with a regular +1 Falchion showed base damage.

This is frustrating: If you use the “Reset Chat Displays” option in the UI Options it will render Guild and Party chat unusable. No matter what you type while in those chat modes, they will always appear in the General Chat. Even hitting the “Default” button on the bottom of the options panel will not fix this. I looked for a settings file to delete, but either it is really obscurely named or it’s hosted on the DDO servers (which doesn’t make sense).

Some more annoyances….
The UMD changes to Arti scrolls are quite, well, ridiculous, to be frank.
Why on earth was this even adjusted? Is turbine that scared of people just being able to UMD their weapons into Silver/Cold Iron/Adamantine/etc?
To be honest, you guys stopped that with making those scrolls drop only, and significantly rare as far as scrolls go.
You know why you never hear about bards soloing healing raids with Mass Heal Scrolls? It takes months, heck years, to build up a stack or 2.
The Arti weapon enchants are going to be the same, if not worse. The least I have seen a Silver weapon scroll so far has been 5kpp, thats a ton of cash to use 1-2 times per raid, IF you can get one that cheap. And you certainly won’t see people just enchanting everyones weapons with scrolls.
Bad change, IMHO.

when specifically set to “defend” they rush off to agro things quite far away. they continue to attack with their weapon even if their summoner is severely hurt… when they finally do decide to heal it’s cure light, which is a drop in the bucket, and you die anyway. issued commands to heal someone ELSE are utterly ignored 1/2 to 3/4 of the time. they are far FAR worse than they were, and we all know they weren’t that great to start with

Under the Big Top
The quest keeps crashing the client.
This (only) happens when there are more than one person in the quest and as far as I can tell, it happens to the player, who happens to stay some way behind the group. This is just my speculation, because the occurances, although regular, seem to be random. Frequency, when running with 2 other players, is approximately 1-2 crashes per group per run.
October 15th, 2011 at 3:09 pm
To anyone having issues with hirelings running off and attacking — Try using the Active setting!
On Active they do not run off nearly as much as on defend. They also seem more responsive to commands on Active. Still quite buggy since 11.1 though.
October 15th, 2011 at 3:28 pm
All the laying down coffins are broken open already. Noticed in the sentinels, menechturn as well as orchard.
Reticule goes red as if it targetable but won’t let you attack and the lids are off already. Made getting the optional in one of the tombs quests impossible.
Don’t think it matters but character info:

October 15th, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Ok After more Hireling testing, I have found that once you change their “focus” from Defend, to Active or Passive, they seem to calm down a bit, as if there is some kind of bug when you first summon a hireling and if you leave them on defend, they tend to run off and attack anything they see.
Once you change them to Active or Passive, they tend to start behaving a little more normal for the type of focus.
October 15th, 2011 at 5:59 pm
The thought spike rune arm assigned to Veteran Artificer has a ’starter’ property field meaning it cannot be used with crafting to change the +1 will save mine was given.
After extended periods of playing the lvl 4/5 iron defender pet for artificer will stop attacking no matter which stance placed in - it will simply use only the special attack of trip/intim automatically and run up to mobs but stand dormant. Dismiss and re-summon until it starts attacking again is the workaround.

Jial
Khyber
Level 20 Warforged Paladin
Works anywhere.
When using Lay on Hands on a Warforged, the character will be healed for the LoH value as a repairing effect AND as a positive energy effect, resulting in getting (in the case of the Warforged Monk I used this on) 180 repaired + 216 healed = 396 health restored off of an LoH that should’ve only healed for either 180 or 216 (unclear if a Warforged with over 100% healing amp should be getting the repair version or the positive energy version). While I find this bug useful, I strongly doubt that it is WAI.
To reproduce it, just use LoH on a warforged - I don’t think the Paladin even has to be Warforged, just the target.

1. New dark cooldown animation makes the global 1-second cooldown really distracting, as all the hotbars and the entire inventory flashes every time you do anything (swap gear, cast spell, etc). Heard lots of people complain about this.
2. Monk/Caster hybrids (with 3 bars in the party list) have the numbers on their SP bar center-justified instead of right-justified like everyone else.
3. If you have numbers and percents turned on in the party list, the percent has wide spaces between it and its parentheses, like this:
290/290 ( 100% )
This makes using numbers and percents more unusably wide. Lose the spaces around the parentheses, like this:
290/290(100%)

Cannith crafted handwraps not adding bane enhancement bonus to attack and damage (only attack)
Steps to Reproduce
Use a set of cannith crafted handwraps with a bane property on the appropriate mob type. A +5 with greater bane should essentially be a +9 weapon against that mob and damage range should reflect this. The attack bonus seems to be working properly but the damage range is 4 points less than it should be, leading me to believe that the bane damage bonus part is not working properly. The 3d6 bane damage however is functioning.

There is an awful new, dark grey cooldown effect, even on on the global 1 sec cooldown that affects all weapon sets, spells, etc.
I assume is a bug given how obtrusive it is and how unplayable it makes the game for anyone with any kind of repetitive light sensitivity and more than one hotbar open.
Affects all my chars (but of course worse on caster, monks and others with lots of class effects/item swapping)
This has literally made the game unplayable for me (bar crafting, which I’m now all caught up on).

Steps to reproduce: Log on a character in Lordsmarch bank, Logoff to character selection, login any other character.
This might also occur in the bank in House Kundarak, restarting the game seems to clear it.

When using a greataxe or a greatsword to cleave, glancing blows proc with the cleave. When using a quarterstaff they don’t.

2. wield a greataxe.
3. hit cleave. note glancing blow proc.
4. wield quarterstaff.
5. hit cleave. note lack of glancing blow proc.
Probably does the same thing with supreme cleave.

Optional mobs and critical to plot advancement mobs are getting stuck in walls and becoming untargetable.
The same problem occurred in two different raids (Suulomades in Tower of Despair and a no-name Troglodyte caster in Shroud part 1) .

1. Sulu in TOD gets stuck in wall. we had him slivered when he shifted right into the wall. Could target him but no attacks or spells would land on him. he was blocked.
2. Lord of Blades - down at the last 5% he sometimes ends up invisible (we all have TS on) but he cannot be seen or targetted(Tab targetting did not work either), he can be hit if you are standing next to him. Have to guess when he goes beserk based on the dead bodies flying. he sometimes comes back when he jumps in the air again.
3. Ladder Lag.. yes it is still there…
4. General Game lag.. cast a spell blue bar drops, but spell does not cast.
5. Cleric apparently have become battle clerics as they no longer want to heal the party.
In passive or defensive mode runs off to try and attack some unknown mob in a unexplored area activating everything on the way.

Character Name:
Itzar
Server:
Sarlona
Race/Class/Level:
Human/Artificer/18
Location:
Any location with ladders.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon defender, use a ladder.
The defender will stop acting every time it tries to use a ladder and float in mid air.
Steps to fix:
I would suggest simply not allowing defenders to use ladders and making them tele to the owner(or person they are set to defend) when they exit a ladder. Dog climbing is a little silly anyway
