I’d go to ataraxia for sure! Man, that’s soooo relaxing :D

      First!

    2. Dawnsfire Says:

If safety were not an issue it would probably be the Vale, the scenery there is awesome. Otherwise I think I’d spend most of my time hiding in a tavern!

    3. Aelonwy Says:

Hmmm… Korthos too fishy-smelling, Cerulean Hills… no the cats have fleas, so do the orcs… Searing Heights? Uh-uh lava makes me sweat… Tangleroot? Nope the trogs REALLY stink!…Red Fens? too mucky, possible leeches… Ataraxia’s makes me want to stay inside with the spa facilities… I’m going to have to say Three Barrel Cove, beautiful beaches, mountain hiking, some jungle for wildlife watching, pirate arse-kicking for excercise! Yep 3BC for me.

    4. Backley Says:

The Vale rest shrine below Rainbow in the Dark is cozy once you’ve cleared the local scorpions. Day hike to the peak is the best view in the known lands, and night caving could be fun too (just bring a torch).

Should be relatively safe since that group of adventurers cleared-out the monsters and secured Lamannia as the co-terminus plane of the Vale.

    5. Glenalth Says:

Why settle on one place? A month long backpacking trip around Xendrik while armed to the teeth, good times.

    6. Cauthey Says:

Vale of Twilight, for sure. The scenery there is magnificent!

    7. Alexandryte Says:

Yarr….Three Barrel cove be where its at. Beautiful beaches….hidden coves….volcanoes…dungeons that test intellect and physical prowess…

Why would you go any farther when your favorite pirate hotspot is only a short teleport away?

    8. nordlav Says:

I’d got to the Crystal Cove, water, sand, pirates running amuck.

    9. baletraeger Says:

I’ll be exploring the sights… in the Searing Heights!

    10. Marupal Says:

Menechtarun. Ancient Egyptian style ruins, bright sun, and no more rain to ruin the fun.

    11. dTarkanan Says:

Definitely Ataraxia’s Haven for an extended work vacation. I hear the Duregar do some great spelunking trips there.

    12. Edwinge Says:

A camping trip into the waterworks might be fun.

    13. SamuelTheFree Says:

Three Barrel Cove is definitely my choice. It has beaches, underwater caves, derelect ships and the water is so crystal clear you can see the sandy floor from the top of the high cliffs. Truly a fun place to be.

    14. danzona Says:

If I wanted to go somewhere remote where I would be assured of not seeing anybody else, then it would be Three Barrel Cove since nobody every runs it.

    15. Sebastrd Says:

      Anywhere I can find snow.

    16. Forgeborn Says:

The mournlands, really need to start looking for the lord of blades there.

    17. Culver.Civello Says:

Hmmm… Shavaranth. Maybe I’ll find a devil bigfoot to slay! :D or maybe I’m just too adventurous for my own good.

    18. knightgf Says:

If you count planes, I think I’ll take a trip to the plane of positive energy. I’ll have to limit my exposure though, otherwise I’ll end up exploding in a mass of energy and die! Hopefully I can rest there so that the scars and fears of creating LFG’s are removed or greatly eased so that I actually make a group and lead.

    19. MatrimDaved Says:

Crystal Cove…Nice beaches, good tavern. And NO CROWDS!!!!

    20. Hakushi Says:

I would go to the Smuggler’s Rest, with no pirates it’s a very peaceful place to be.

    21. Nuryam Says:

      3B Cove here we come!

Short travel times for a quiet vacation on those nice beaches. Before we (my toons) have to get back to work…grinding Green Steel ingredients for the Tier 3 double sharded items!

    22. krissonofpark Says:

If we could finally wipe out all the Hobgoblins, wolves and Drow, etc, I would love to turn the Searing Heights into a tourist destination.
And I would live there in a tent all year round.

    23. dunklezhan Says:

On the rooftops of the Inspired Quarter. My guild leader can’t find me up there to make me, like, *do* stuff, and the view is fantastic.

    24. Tom_Hunters Says:

to the inland of Xendrick, and do a field trip on the giant relics, making some frds (or more likely some enemies)of drows

    25. xJx Says:

Shrouded Vale seems like a nice place,

    26. Leiton Says:

If I could find a part of the Vale of Twilight that wasn’t loaded with dangerous monsters, I’d love to go camping there. Beautiful scenery, nice weather, cool old ruins, and even some available swimming!

    27. Bradik_Losdar Says:

Think I’d head to a little known continent called Xen’drik. I hear the city of Stormreach has some exciting stuff to do…although they do have a kobold infestation problem I hear… ;P

    28. ruphphus Says:

Any place that has a tavern. Camping is thirty work.

    29. raladnahs Says:

Without question, Reavers Refuge. Where else can I go to get some great free-fall and swimming time to get there, followed by some Skiing in in Aussircaex’s Valley, slaloming through the Frost Giants, then some serious rock and hill climbing on Mt. Reysalon, then a nice wooded trek through the Eerie Forest, then spend a relaxing time in the beautiful Soami Gardens? No other place can give you what Reavers can, and that’s everything.

    30. rawrketties Says:

To the tower of the Twelve! I have a strange obsession with lava for some reason, and that’s the best place I can think of :)

    31. sirgog Says:

A relaxing hike up to the top of Tempest’s Spine.

    32. Memnir Says:

I’d book a room in the Sleeping Spell Tavern.
It is walking distance to the Tower of the Twelve, shopping in the Marketplace, and the Vale for extended nature walks.

Plus, you never know who or what will be your drinking buddy for the evening. :)

    33. dragons1ayer74 Says:

There are a few places that would be nice to visist and camp at: Soami Gardens, Orchard, 3 Barel Cove, Vale and Seering Heights. If I could only pick one I think it would have to be the Gardens.

    35. Gratch Says:

The marketplace tent. I figure it’s safest as it’s quota on being destructed is already full.

    36. Fire_Godd Says:

Gianthold or Amrath for sure. I’d love to set up a tent near the giant swirling portal you encounter whilst involved in a weapons shipment :D That’d be a trip, man!

    37. salmagundi Says:

3 barrel cove, sun,fun and a relaxing swim. camping out on the beach, would be great. maybe do a little slaying.

    38. tinnertaz Says:

i would have to say orchards because the are already campsites set up fires burning all the time so what if i have to kill a zombie here or there that like the fishing part of the trip

    39. Book_O_Dragons Says:

I’d go to the Eldeen Reaches and hopefully become a Druid. If I need to stay in Xendrik I’d go to Tangleroot Gorge.

    40. bseamus Says:

I’d have to make a pilgrimage to the two shrines to pay homage to the patriarchs of D&D. Where I could camp at a respectful distance, sit before a fire and reflect on how deeeply they’ve impacted my life with their imaginations. And let me gat this in… I hope you’re working on making them both public ;)
