1. Dawnsfire Says:

A pirate Mummy by far. Thanks to Mummy Despair fear is not an alternative.

2. Dawnsfire Says:

I guess my link doesn’t work here :(

3. dragons1ayer74 Says:

A pirate mummy because if the necromancer is left to raise kobolds well thats not to scary.

4. Symar-FangofLloth Says:

Undead kobolds. They’ll climb the walls and throw rotten flesh at you, and you won’t be able to reach them.

A pirate mummy would just get soggy.

5. Kydrou Says:

A Undead Kobold is scarier. A Pirate Mummy is just a Stylish mummy for all i care.

6. danzona Says:

Since kobolds are comic relief, I guess I have to go with the pirate mummy.

7. ComicRelief Says:

I don’t know about ’scarier’, but undead Kobolds are more irritating, by far. Because even undead, Kobolds still hate you.
;-)

8. ComicRelief Says:

@danzona: Hey! They are not me!
;-)

9. siver Says:

Well, that would have to depend on which type of undead the kobold is. I mean, a zombie kobold is just as easy to deal with as a normal kobold, only less jumpy. A pirate mummy would be far scarier than that.

A kobold lich on the other hand, that would beat out the pirate mummy by far. Worse still, a kobold DRACOLICH!!!
(See Ataraxia’s Haven)

10. sirgog Says:

An undead kobold.

As a pirate mummy would just make me laugh.

11. desertbuttons Says:

The Pirate Mummy, cuz undead kobolds are CUTE.

12. WCrysamere Says:

The undead kobold has the greater potential for possibility of being scarier, i mean it could be an undead pirate kobold!!!

13. baletraeger Says:

undead. mummy. kobold.
Bow you have something to fear…

14. Gram Says:

Undead kobold still hates you.

15. Ziindarax Says:

I am going to go on a limb, and say Pirate Mummy.

Pirate mummies are more intimidating than pirate kobolds because they inflict nasty curses. And let’s face it, if the Blood Tide used pirate mummies, House Deneith (or at least its Stormreach branch) would be dead, or nearly wiped out if not for the aid of adventurers.

16. Tom_Hunters Says:

Undead kobold definitely
Coz it will tell all adventurers it is a dracolich

17. Says:

18. Edwinge Says:

It’s hard to say because, as others have pointed out, you have not specified the type of undead that the kobold is. I think the scariest possibility is some freak hybridization of a kobold and a doomsphere. It would be unstoppable. Not only would it remember waterworks as a kobold, but also as a beholder! The hate would be all consuming. Oh, and eye beams and stuff.

19. Yarrrrr Says:

In term of fight or in term of scarriest?

In term of fight the mummy because it’s really more powerful…
but in term of scarriest the kobolds, because it’s will very surprise me…

Look! A little kobold! IT’S A UNDEAD!

20. az4a3l Says:

Undead Kobolds
Why? because of the many combinations of undead u can get from them, skeletons kobolds, undead necromancer kobolds, zombies kobolds, polstergeist kobolds and the scariest of em all paragon undead kobolds on elite :D and u can also add the ones from cerulean hills with the cute liltle bandana also undead.
A mummy is just annoying with their cursing wound and being pirate doesnt make it more scary.

21. cireyang Says:

Maybe the undead kobold if it was a vampire kobold or undead paragon kobolds. Are kobold death knights possible?

22. Veriden Says:

Vampire ninja kobolds. YOu didn’t state what kind of undead they would be so naturally vampire ninjas with their small size will readily distract you with their clever traps and ability to steal your left sock before they get stabby when you’re looking for your sock.

23. loui289 Says:

Undead kobolds
pirate mummies would just catch on fire and crumble to dust when fighting a wizard

24. Quetzacoala Says:

I would have to go with undead kobolds, for a very simple reason.

They have not specified what kind of undead kobold-this gives Turbine a lot of variety.

I am hoping they will do something interesting like a kobold lich… just imagine it!

25. Leiton Says:

An undead kobold could be infinitely scarier. How? Two words:

Undead Pun-Pun.

26. WarReaver2010 Says:

Undead Kobald, All that Kobald goodness with added undead badness

27. Y'iwlamon Says:

Mummy. Diseases and curses, and other bad voodoo. If it’s also a pirate of any worth, it’d have a ship, which requires some buddies to pilot.

Undead kobolds are just puntably adorable, and I can’t imagine one becoming a greater undead of any sort unless by some cruel joke of a necromancer. They don’t have the magical strength to become liches of much power, nor the constitution to live though the process of becoming a vampire. I say that leaves them as easy fodder for the nearest cleric or pally.

28. Dulcimerist Says:

A mummy wrapped up in its linens looks a lot like a ninja. A mummy pirate would resemble a ninja so much that I doubt anything could kill it.

29. Zectarash Says:

I’m a Paladin. I simply don’t care about getting frozen by fear or rotting alive because of my righteous snobbishness. The Curses I can easily remove, and mummies are squishy.
I wouldn’t be scared of either, but I’d be more cautious around my first undead Kobold. I’ve only killed about 200,000 of them this life alone. If all of those came back to life…

I think I know what’s going to be in the Mabar festival this year!

30. Rinnaldo Says:

An undead kobold who will continue to hate you forever seems pretty scary…

31. rawrketties Says:

Fear the Pirate Mummy! Or rather, despair and rot, because that’s what you’ll come away with if you ever have the misfortune of running into one..

32. Bradik_Losdar Says:

Pirate mummy by far is the scarier.

Well, because it’s a pirate…AND a mummy.

Kobolds are way too cute to be scary - even when undead. lol. (Undead kobold always hate you!)

33. Hush_Puppy Says:

The undead Kobold. You know what they say: “Beware the cute ones”! If there were undead Kobold swarms…..O.o

“Braaaaaiins! Yark!”
“Kobold gonna get you!”
“This for Waterworks! And this for Kobold Assault! And this for no being stinky!! YARK!”
“MY mother dragon minion so YARK!”
“I’m undead! I’m undead!”
“We can haz brains now?”
“Oooo! Fleshies!”
“Kobold gonna eat ya!”

The silly comments alone would be enough to shake the sanity of even the most stalwart adventurer.
I’ll also admit, I wanna read what they have to say!

34. naimen Says:

hmmmm, most scariest thing…..Kobold Wiz-king!!!!

35. CaptainSpacePony Says:

Undead Kobold. I mean what’s the motivation? The mystery is scary. Mummy prirate? Just a soggy zombie pirate that can’t move quickly–yawn.

Kobold wins!

36. Mindos Says:

Have to be the pirate mummy, cause everyone knows, oh, kobolds never die, they just yip away!

37. Hakushi Says:

A mummy pirate would still be scary, but undead kobolds, they would still be cute even as undeads, wouldn’t really become scarier.

38. LeoLionxxx Says:

Undead CC kobold. Their bad jokes would scare the fur off a bugbear.

39. Cauthey Says:

“Kobold…still…hate…you… BRAINS!! NOM, NOM…”

40. knightgf Says:

Neither. A Tier III pale master is far more scarier than any other opponent to face.

41. Elixxer Says:

An undead kobold because there is NEVER a lone kobold. There are always more, waiting… for the perfect… momet… to… BAM!

Right when you think it’s over, BAM another one! Zombie kobolds everywhere! It’s the end for you.

42. BadBuy Says:

Definitely the undead kobold. Because then “Kobold still hate you…forever!”.

43. Grenada Says:

Pirate mummy kobold. Possibly undead.

44. dTarkanan Says:

I’m personally worried about ‘Persistant Mummy Survey’

45. Tranxx Says:

I would definately have to say undead kobald. Not only are they annoyingly bouncy, but theyre also some of the first things you run across that are able to effectively hit you with hold person. Also, anyone else remember the Kobalds from Mired in Kobalds? I would hate to see all those things be raised into undead and rush in to help Sinvala trash parties…

46. dTarkanan Says:

Scurvey, that is.

47. Willibold Says:

We all know that a kobold is simply target practice, so if a kobold was made undead,it would suggest that there is SOMETHING with an awful lot of time/power to waste behind it. Be afraid……..

48. Rasczak Says:

An undead kobold. A pirate mummy is just fashion, an undead kobold is an upgrade. Kobold still hate you V2.0

49. The-Old-Man Says:

Undead Kobolds. They’ll never forget the Water Works. You could have all varieties or undead (even the Kobold Mummy). And what would the Pirate’s Mummy do, pelt you with chocolate chip cookies and milk?

50. The-Old-Man Says:

Undead Kobolds. They’ll never forget the Water Works. You could have all varieties of undead (even the Kobold Mummy). And what would the Pirate’s Mummy do, pelt you with chocolate chip cookies and milk?

51. rfachini Says:

Pirate Mummy by far. In fact, someone should write this script, starring Johnny Depp AND Brendan Fraser.

52. Backley Says:

Undead Kobold. It probably remembers Waterworks.

53. Sebastrd Says:

Pirate Mummy, by far. Imagine the circumstances that would have to occur for a pirate to end up mummified.

I envision a derelict galleon born on the backs of a thousand thousand gleaming black scarabs, crewed by a team of squealing zombie kobolds, a desiccated corpse at the helm wearing the Admiral of Bling (fully upgraded of course) and with a camel spider perched on its shoulder. Probably calls itself Davey Ho-Tep…

54. spyyder976 Says:

In reality, probably the pirate mummy, although his bandages would most likely be soaked with saltwater, and he would move extremely slowly. For a gamer though, I think that after all that you did to get past all the lower level quests in DDO that involve killing gazillions of kobolds, only to have them come back in undeath for you to have to kill tougher, uglier swarms of them again later, is also pretty scary.

55. Protasious Says:

undead kobalds, an army of them might be scarry.

56. Lightlord389 Says:

Undead Kobalds because they remember the waterworks!

57. geoffhanna Says:

Tiny hands fall right off
Now scampers only for braaaaaiiins
Yark? Zombie Kobold

58. DefecTalisman Says:

hmmm… neither, all undead burn to easily.

How about a incorpral Kobol Shaman ghost. Maybe that poor cr25 kobol that found his way into Lordsmarch comes back as a incorp to haunt us.

59. Xenostrata Says:

So… any word on what’s going on with the forums?

60. Nyxianne Says:

Any word on when Mabar is showing up? MABAR! Yay! Oh and kobold undead, much worse - mainly for the incredible acrobatic feat of climbing up a wall just out of reach.
