Weak fighter- you can still at least tank or score vorpal hits.

    2. SiskoSolo Says:

In the online world I’d have to go with the Fighter as even a weak fighter can kill stuff and draw aggro. If it were 2cnd Ed. Pen n Paper I’d have to go with the Unintel. Wizard for the Humorous Roleplaying opportunities. His catch phrase could be “Everyone move back, I’m going to attempt to cast!” :-)

    3. Lunaris832010 Says:

Definitely a weak fighter. Just focus on that dex and go weapon finesse!
No hope for a wizzie with a low INT… that would just be a waste… IMHO

    4. My2Cents Says:

weak fighter, raise your int and pick up lots of skills!

Then tell everyone you’re really a wizard and hide alot.

    5. sephiroth1084 Says:

Weak fighter. Nice to see someone put Weapon Finesse to use these days.

    6. QuantumFX Says:

Weak fighter. You can take weapon finesse for the short term and it looks like in the Expansion pack you will be able to use DEX as your Damage modifier with the Tempest PrE.

    7. WarReaver2010 Says:

Unintelligent wizard, then I’d be too stupid to know what I was missing!

    8. Backley Says:

Weak fighter: can still kill stuff, just slowly. Plus, Dex to-hit and special procs can help.

    9. ComicRelief Says:

Wait - aren’t all wizards “unintelligent”? That’s what I hear all the sorcerers saying anyway…
      ;-)

    10. danzona Says:

A weak fighter I suppose. A dwarf with a 20 starting con would at least have a bunch of hitpoints for turtling.

    11. Zectarash Says:

      Dim Wizard: Int items…

    12. Dawnsfire Says:

A dim wizard could be built like a gish I suppose assuming multiclassing is allowed.

    13. nyteblayze Says:

There are a few really good “Low” Int Builds out there for Wizards. The best is a low INT Elf Pale Master. Focused more in Melee Combat instead of attack spells, and using magic for healing, summoning, and buffing.Cross Class it with a little Artificer and its pretty ugly as a crossbow wielder or Arcane Archer Pale Master.

    14. rawrketties Says:

Weak fighter, because you could have high AC or hp to be a tank, whereas there are no functions for a dumb wizard :/

    15. cireyang Says:

Weak fighter. More options than unintelligent wizard.

    16. minionofgruumsh Says:

Weak fighter, hands down. Theoretically you can be a “good” fighter without the strength of a thousand ogres if you have enough finesse and wits about you. ;) Especially if you’re part of a team that can already “bring the hurt” and you focus your weaponry and tactics around messing with your enemies (not necessarily feasible in *this* game, but still). Also, a weak fighter doesn’t trigger certain unfavorable memories when thinking back to the mechanic of adding spells to your mage book from the Baldur’s Gate series (% chance to succeed based on the spell’s level and your int added to the fact that you don’t gain spells on level-up just made low-int wizards absolute trash).

    17. knightgf Says:

      Both!

Coyle is my inspiration to become a weak fighter and a unintelligent wizard!

    18. Kaelyr Says:

I once had a really nice, shiny sword. ‘t was sharp, too. Wait… what happened to the sword again? I kinda forgot… Oh, right! I wanted to take it with me on a great adventure! But then one of those damn rats bit me into my leg and the sword fell into the ooze pool and I tried to pull it out, but then my hands ached. Ached really bad. And then there was that troll and I… had to make sure I didn’t leave the oven on in my house! Yes, the oven! So I quickly ran home, but I couldn’t find my scrolls. My papa always said scrolls are good in any situation. Then I finally found one and smashed it on the head of a nearby cow because I’m a wizard! Wait… what was the question?

    19. LeoLionxxx Says:

Nobody in my party will know i’m a stupid wizrd until it’s too late :D.

    20. Gratch Says:

A weak half-elf fighter going dual-intim, crazy-hp defender, high threat can still be a good tank. He could even go high dex and use some of the few dex-based damage weapons.

I can’t think of how to unbreak a no-int wizard.

    21. stufou Says:

A 9 intelligence wizard with through the roof DEX would make a nice illusionist, then push up CON so he can make up for no being “able”.

The perfect illusionist who brags about being a wizard.

    22. IrielElenya Says:

I’d rather go with a ranger or paladin with no Wisdom , since equipment , potions and/or tomes allow you to keep casting. Same goes for my monk Pale-master and it’s Int stat.
Wisdom can be dumped on a Favored Soul who only heals.
      Charisma on a multiclass Bard.
Strength on a Rogue, who cares only about sneaks (no one ever got annoyed at mine, except when i stealed aggro).
Intel-dump Artificers only suffer in the skill department, but can still melee/range and the occasional buff.

Dump Stats are the flavor in your character. Main stats are their Shine. And i can’t stand tasteless lipgloss on my Girlfriend.

    23. Kydrou Says:

Sorry , that was me, Iriel is my Girlfriend.

    24. Mithril_Hand Says:

A weak fighter. You can focus on CON and HP and serve as your guild’s training dummy!

    25. Perspicacity Says:

Why chose? I duel class as both, buff dex and con and be an AA.

    26. Lehmu Says:

Weak fighter. I can still act as a tank with strategic use of intimidate.

    27. MisosOrcus Says:

a week fighter has several optins, crossbows, ranged attacks, weapon finesse just to name a few. An unitlegent wizzard will not be able to cast spells affectively and that is the only thing Wizzards have going on…..

Of course…. it might be possible to make an undead pale master that is good in mellee combat esp if it takes just a few levels of monk……

    28. Cauthey Says:

Weak fighter, for sure. Cause a fighter could technically be DEX based, and could use weapons that key off of DEX for to-hit and damage.

A wizard with dumpstatted INT wouldn’t be able to cast first level spells. Tuck that in your scroll, and try and cast it.

    29. desertbuttons Says:

My WizMonk only needs enough INT to cast Death Aura once & awhile, so it’s pretty low :)

    30. Book_O_Dragons Says:

I’d be an ugly (dumped Cha) S&B dwarf Paladin with 8 Str.

I’d go DoS PrE, wield vorpal (or similar) weapons and max HP and intim.

    31. Dulcimerist Says:

I would rather be a weak fighter, since I could use finesse and perhaps get my AC up to a somewhat meaningful value.

Dumping intelligence on a wizard would be far more difficult or dysfunctional to play. I’m also not used to playing a caster, so my lack of experience playing a caster and the low intelligence would double up to make me completely ineffective with a character like that.

    32. ZalamarQ Says:

Unintelligent wizard because I can totally be a “run up and bash ‘em” wizard who might cast a spell every once in a while.

    33. Leiton Says:

A weak fighter for me, and not just because I prefer playing fighters over casters. With the Weapon Finesse feat, a fighter can still get great accuracy, and with a good Dex score light/no armor becomes practical, so you can dip for Evasion. The only trouble is damage output - unless you’re VERY well geared in the weapons department, there’s only so much damage you can do with finesseable weapons.

    34. bkasavan Says:

      Weak fighter:
      TWF Dex builds!

    35. alex1ender3 Says:

stupid wizard - it’s a good excuse to grab the biggest greataxe on the ah and let everyone watch in awe as I charge towards the meek foes that wouldn’t understand my greatness :P

    36. Adiurd Says:

Weak fighter. Go all the way with Dex and you’ll be as good as any old Str fighter. Now a dumb wizard…that’ll be the day.

    37. Jocal Says:

How about a ranger that dumped wis, dex and int (and maybe char), no skills (few skill points), no ranged feats?

    38. spyyder976 Says:

Weak fighter and just use ranged attacks; high dex and ranged feats and even weapon finesse make you still a good fighter.

    39. bronzelyre Says:

Weak fighters definitely have more options (finesse, ranged…). So I’d go with that.

    40. Y'iwlamon Says:

Give me the stupid wizard. More fun roleplaying the stats, more fun finding new ways to die, countless ways to annoy my party, and an interesting challenge at higher levels. If it lives that long at least.

“I’ve been hurt Mr. Shadow Demon. Will you heal me?”

    41. LeoLionxxx Says:

Stupid wizard with high charisma; I can just claim I got confused between wiz/sorc

    42. nordlav Says:

Weak fighter, I actually like playing Paladins.

    43. Malbarad Says:

Definitely a weak fighter. If I’m gonna be a wizard, I’m gonna be a good one.
