Join us for player features, guild features, fun with the staff, important updates, and DDO knowledge! We’re so excited for the coming of Update 3, and we hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are! Our friend from across the pond, Halo_572, has created a category called Handy Tips You Might Have Missed, and it’s a great resource for players new and old (and the rest of his blog isn’t too shabby either). Thanks for your contributions Halo!

In other community news, we’re looking for nominations for DDO videos to feature in The Chronicle! Be sure to send your video spotlight nominations to us at ddo@turbine.com and don’t forget to include the link and who to credit! In the meantime, we thought we’d take a walk down memory lane with a classic: Mucking About by Lessah gives us witty dialogue, misinformation, and kobold slaying. What else does a movie need?

The first Featured Player Spotlight is here! and we’re happy to introduce DDO player Memnir to those few who don’t already know him!

An anti-zerging and light-RP guild, The Doom Brigade is looking for more recruits on the Cannith server. About half of their players are from over-seas, making this an international-friendly guild with playtimes at all hours! Read more on their recruitment thread!

DDO is a rich game with lots to learn about! With the advent of in-game web access on the horizon, we’re always looking for great player-made guides on a variety of topics! Be sure to contact us about guides that you have found to be excellent help when you’re not sure where to turn!

Have you always wanted to write a guide yourself but you’re not sure how to begin or where you should put it? There are many options and also many things to keep in mind! Check out the Guide To Writing Guides to learn more about making great DDO game guides!

    upforadoption

There are many traditions in the community, and we like to help players pass the torch from one generation to the next. This week we have a stickied forum thread up for adoption!

We’re looking for any players interested in maintaining a new player character build listing in the new player forums. The time honored tradition of keeping a collection of beginner character builds has been a valuable contribution to the community filled with deep discussions and excellent advice. If you’re interested in continuing this fun and helpful activity please e-mail us at ddo@turbine.com with subject line DDO ADOPTION BUILDS and be sure to include your forum name. For inspiration, check out the original that started it all!

Interested in adopting a different community tradition that has gone by the wayside? Are you the keeper of a guide or community activity and you’re looking to pass the torch to other interested players, or you just need a few extra helping hands? Learn more by clicking here!
